Programmes
MBBS (5 years). Track 1: 6 years (1 year at LUMS, then 5 years MBBS at SMDC). Track 2: 5-year MBBS with elective courses at LUMS in summer semesters (AI, data science, nanotechnology, health economics, philosophy, critical thinking and others).
Eligibility
- MDCAT (2026, 2025 or 2024) passed with at least 55% for MBBS and 50% for BDS.
- HSSC (Pre-Medical) or IBCC-equivalent 12th grade with at least 60% marks, including Biology, Chemistry and Physics/Mathematics.
- Domicile of any district of Pakistan.
- Overseas Pakistanis/dual nationals (15% quota in each college) may use MDCAT, SAT-II (at least 550 in Biology, Chemistry and Physics/Mathematics) or MCAT (International)/UCAT with 50% marks; an unfilled overseas seat goes to open merit at the open-merit fee.
Merit formula
MDCAT 50% + FSc/HSSC 40% + Matric/SSC 10%

Scholarships & financial help
- High Achievers Scholarship: a few seats with 100% scholarship for the full 5-year MBBS, on merit aggregate; minimum requirement is an admission offer from a public-sector medical college in any province.
- Shahid Hussain Foundation: full-year scholarship at LUMS (Track 1).
- Financial Assistance Programme for all 5 years (more than PKR 21 million to 8% of students, as stated by the college).
