Seat categories: open merit and overseas Pakistani/dual national (expatriate).

Eligibility

  • MDCAT (2026, 2025 or 2024) passed with at least 55% for MBBS and 50% for BDS.
  • HSSC (Pre-Medical) or IBCC-equivalent 12th grade with at least 60% marks, including Biology, Chemistry and Physics/Mathematics.
  • Domicile of any district of Pakistan.
  • Overseas Pakistanis/dual nationals (15% quota in each college) may use MDCAT, SAT-II (at least 550 in Biology, Chemistry and Physics/Mathematics) or MCAT (International)/UCAT with 50% marks; an unfilled overseas seat goes to open merit at the open-merit fee.

Merit formula

MDCAT 50% + FSc/HSSC 40% + Matric/SSC 10%

Fee

  • Application processing fee Rs 2,000 (Bank of Punjab / NBP branch or 1Bill invoice; 1Bill top-up not accepted).
  • A candidate on a merit list deposits Rs 600,000 in the UHS account within 3 working days (otherwise the offer is cancelled); the rest of the college fee is paid to the college, quarterly, half-yearly or yearly under the PM&DC Regulations.
  • Each college publishes its own fee: see the college pages.

How to apply

  • Register on privatembbs.uhs.edu.pk (BDS: privatebds.uhs.edu.pk), fill the profile, seat category, marks and MDCAT score, upload documents (PNG/JPG, max 500 KB each), choose colleges in order of preference (at least one; no upper limit), pay the Rs 2,000 challan, upload it and submit.
  • Preferences become final after the deadline.

RYK Medical & Dental College: admissions allowed provisionally under a court order of 30.09.2026 (W.P. 4909/2026), subject to PM&DC and UHS approval. Watim Medical College: admissions allowed for 2026-27 under a court order of 14.10.2026 (W.P. 5385/2026), subject to PM&DC approval. A student admitted to a private college may give up upgradation in writing; that choice is final. UHS advises checking each college's fee, location and facilities (visit or read its official website) before choosing preferences.
